Met in Victoria Falls in the early 1990’s when Sid was a white water rafting guide. Cheryl moved to the tourism capital of Zimbabwe for 6 weeks to gain work experience in the industry and 30 years later they still call Victoria Falls their home. They have raised two children who are as passionate about the bush as they are, and have been privileged to experience safaris in many parts of Africa. Sid and Cheryl’s combined experience in the industry over the past 24 years makes them a formidable team. They aspire to maintain the professional reputation they have earnt from putting together unforgettable safari experiences for their guests

As the Creative Director at Exclusive Touch Africa, Cheryl Hayes is the creative force behind the company’s luxurious and personalised travel offerings. Her expertise in curating seamless experiences shines in everything from itinerary design to brand storytelling. With a keen eye for the finer details and a deep appreciation for Africa’s unique beauty, Cheryl ensures that every journey is an exquisite balance of adventure and comfort. Her dedication to crafting unforgettable moments has earned her a stellar reputation among clients and industry peers alike. Cheryl’s influence extends beyond operations – she breathes life into every aspect of Exclusive Touch Africa, making it more than a travel company: it’s a gateway to the extraordinary.
Cheryl has a diverse knowledge of the market and services available within each region, as well as an astute awareness of guest’s needs. Being an incurable romantic, her favourite is designing honeymoon programmes, but as she is a mother of two children being brought up in the bush, and the wife of a safari guide, her love of safaris combined with luxury accommodation, inspires her to put together perfect family and individual holidays. Whilst Cheryl does not travel with guests, she does extensive research into the products that she sells and does not often propose anything that she herself has not personally experienced

Cheryl Hayes was born in Zimbabwe and is of 5th generation Pioneer stock. After completing her tertiary education in South Africa and living in the USA, Cheryl arrived into Victoria Falls for a short work experience stint, and never left. Having worked in the corporate and incentive world for a few years, Cheryl saw an opportunity to provide a service for the discerning guest who was looking for personalized attention whilst travelling, and her concept of Exclusive Touch Africa was borne, leading to the opening of the company in 1998.

Sabeena Jogee
General Manager & Safari Planner
After a long career in the industry Sabeena brought her expertise and knowledge into our family and has been an integral part of ETA since 2018. Starting out as a consultant, Sabeena was made General Manager very quickly as her work ethic, experience and professionalism showed her to be an extremely positive and proactive addition to our team. Her infectious smile and radiant personality brightens up our office on a daily basis and her seamless ability to blend her experience with a genuine passion for hospitality makes her a valuable entity in curating our safaris and dreams for our guests. She prides herself on building and nurturing relationships with our suppliers, her organisational skills in operations and logistics is spot on always, and she ensures that our team of freelance guides are well prepared and supported at all times.
